Iceland
Rain...rain and some more rain during my last visit in Iceland, I got to the point that I didn't want to take my camera out, not because I was afraid of damage, but rather because I knew that my shot would be unsalvagable, full of spots from the endless rain and waterfall spray.
And then, just for a few minutes the rain ended, I knew I wanted this shot panoramic, I use a 16-55 on my Fuji which is not wide enough for the type of framing I wanted so my only alternative would be panoramic.
With the help of 6 stop ND filter to blur motion on the waterfall, I made four horizontal captures just hoping that no water droplets would be visible enough to ruin my try. I didn't opt for a portrait mode pano as I didn't want any of the sky, which was blocked by clouds but also to keep as little as I could from the foreground.
